Hello,

You might have to add more details inorder to get an answer
Can you add a screenshot of what you have tried?
I suppose you are using a before Business Rule, but not exactly on which table?

When the Incident state is set to Resolved as a result of Alert clearing 
and when there are Incident Tasks associated with the Incident still 
in "Open, Pending , Work In Progress", I want a "Work Note" to be 
added to the Incident (This work note gets copied on to the Case also; 
setting the "Needs Attention" getting flagged on the Case).
Work Notes Description : An Open Incident Task is pending completion. Please follow up.

On the Incident , this worknote should be added as "System" and not as "Assigned To".
