Custom field on journal?

Hi!

Is it possible to have a custom field on journal that will be mandatory every time posting for example a work note?
E.g. the value for the custom field choosen every time posting will be correlated with the actual comment in work note?

Someone that did that?

Yes, it is possible that we can create custom field journal type and apply the mandatory logic, if i understood your query correctly, else please share more details with some example.

About this correlation part, its difficult at first place becuase journal field's data passed to audit table(s) after record is saved, correlating the custom field value with audit table technically possible but not recomended.
