Customize report name while downloading

Hi Team,

Need a help on report naming. When we export any reports, the report will be saved with table name.file extension. Is there any way to customize this?

I am creating a report for active and inactive records from same table, so when I download the active records report, it should save as active records, instead of table name. same with inactive also, it should be saved as inactive records.

Hi Pooja,

There is a solution from thread. Although, the thread has for a particular UI Action you can still check for the UI Context Menu 'Excel' and try altering it with the solution in thread commented above.

This Export UI context menu make use of  ContextMenuExportHandler function. since it's undocumented, it may be difficult to customize it.

Hi Pooja,

It's not possible , we can not customize the report name.

Already we have raised same with service now in idea portal long back.
