Delete records from the Software Installations table after they are no longer visible in SCCM.

Hi All,

I want to know what happens in the CMDB table when assets are deleted or removed from the SCCM.

If asset 'Install Status' gets changed to 'In Stock' or 'Retired', or how we can understand that this asset is no longer in SCCM, then we can delete records from the 'Software Installations' table.

How can we delete records from the Software Installations table after they are no longer visible in SCCM?

There is an out-of-the-box 'Scheduled Script-(SAM - Remove Installations for retired or stolen configuration items)' Will that work as per our requirements?

Please help me find solutions to this, and let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks,

Mayur.

If we remove, then as per these tables action will be taken.
