Difference between a Standard Service request and a Generic request

What is the best way to describe the difference between a Standard Service request and a Generic request that lives in the incident module? thank you

Hi,

 

When you say Generic Service Request is like adding a user to snow, role to user or create a group in service now, etc.

 

And Standard Service request means A request which has workflow specially build for them and have specific catalog item for it.


Example: Apple iphone, laptop, desktop, etc
