Display Catalog item on Portal Page to raise request

Hi All,

 

I have added a catalog item on portal page. But I want catalog must open on that page so that I can raise request straight from that portal page. Please find the attachment and reply asap.

Don't do this, and it will increase technical debt. OOTB, when an item has been clicked it opens in new page in the same window. Also by doing this user experience will not be the same, more scrolling might be required.

I do respect your suggestion and will keep it in mind. But if I have a requirement for this kind of scenario then how can I achieve this ?
