Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to create an REQ -> RITM with Record Producer. But on the RITM form all record producer variables are not displaying. A;though variable editor is added to the form layout.
Please suggest if it is feasible to have a record producer record that contains variable editor having all the variable details. We need to display variable editor in RITM form which is a child of REQ.
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Bhushan

Can you check if any catalog client script is restricting to make visible on RITM form. make true for "Applies on Requested Item" like below for catalog client script which is associated with variables(not displaying):
Mark Correct if this solves your issue and also hit Like and Helpful

Hi,
Can you please check if the Global Field on the Variable form is marked as True or not for those Variables which are not getting displayed on the RITM Form. If not marked as True, Please mark the checkbox value as True and try the same by reloading your RITM form. Please see the screen shot below:
Note: If the Global field is not present on your Variable form, kindly add the same using Configure-->Form Layout and then try the above solution.
Hope this helps.Mark the answer as correct/helpful based on impact.

Is there a reason for using Record producer instead of catalog item?
There could be UI policies or client scripts in your record producer which are not applied on the requested item and you have check them on these scripts.
Thank You

Hi,
I think that's because you cannot pull the variables from record producer on to the RITM. The only reason because the values of the variables are not used anywhere once the record is created(submitted). One give away is in record producer you cannot attach any workflow.
Please use service catalog if you are keen to use the variables on the form.
Hit like if it helps.
