Duplicate mails are getting generated

Hi,

 

Whenever the enhancement record is created and assigned to group mail need to be triggered which is working fine but suddenly 2 same mails are getting send to the recipients and i have checked the message id in the header part of the 2 same mails there are different. Both the mails are getting generated at the same time itself.

 

Checked in the email logs with the subject details it is showing 2 records

 

Any idea how to solve this and what might be the issue

Details;

Insert and update notification 

When to send:  assignment grp changes and assignment group. group email is empty 

who will receive; Assignment group

what it will contain :email template

Yes suddenly it is triggering 2 mails no business rule is used to send notification

Double check and make sure you don't have copied notifications or using the same template or anything.
Also check for business rules that cause an update STRAIGHT AFTER an update (or insert).

 

Because this is set to work on insert or update, there's two possible triggers.  And therefore at least the chance that two transactions happened so quickly it only looks like "exact same time" to a human.
