Hi All,
There is one table fx_rate in service now which stores currency rates. As per the service now documentation, there is one schedule job ECB Exchange Rate which updates fx_rate table daily. When I go in scheduled job list view, I could not find any job with this name.
I would like to know where I can see this job . I would also want to know sometimes why this job didn't update the table e.g. for one specific date?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Tara Singh

The Zurich content is also incorrect as the job name should be Update Currency Conversion Rates, not Retrieve System Rates. And the Zurich link to 'Use your own currency-conversion rates' still refers to the old job name ECB Exchange Rate Load 😯

Do we have any other relaible source apart from Servicenow Documentation? If SN docs is displaying any content and it is not listed anywhere else in relaible source..I dont think we have any other choice rather then believing it. Still if anyone of you think content is not correct - raise a Case with Servicenow to get the clarity. last option 🙂

The only reliable source is ServiceNow Docs, even though it can be wrong or outdated. Anything else is not coming from the company that creates the platform, so even if it is true and says something else, you can't rely on it, because it can be changed by ServiceNow.
Reach out to NowSupport and have them give you the actual answer (and update the docs accordingly).
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

The SN official recommendation is to inactivate the job Update Currency Conversion Rates(sysauto_script.do?sys_id=c9e1f226ef102210a6d9201c7e97d734) before loading your own currency rates
