email.addAddress() is not working

Hi Team,
In the notification, i have added one email script which contain "email.addAddress() function. We need to send mail to CC person also . In activity log, i am able to see that user name is there as a cc but user told me that he is not received any notification.
Please guide me.

Hi,
few things to check
1) is the user having valid email address
2) user is active and not locked out
3) user has notification preference enabled

1, is the user having valid email address
Yes, user have valid email addresss
2) user is active and not locked out
User is not locked out
3) user has notification preference enabled
Can you please help me to check on this? i read somewhere that it may be something related to email engine.
