Email Notifications triggering

Hi,

 

Multiple Notifications are triggering, Under Who will receive tab, in Groups: 'Test123'' added and the group contains 3 members. So 3 email are triggering when I check the Emails logs, but it should sent only one to all group members.

 

Custom Notification is created on: sysapproval_approver table

When to send: Record inserted or updated

Inserted is True(Ticked) only

Updated is False(Unticked)

 

Kindly help me to fix this issue.

Hey @Sarah Bouil ,

As per your issue with Notification. To avoid 5 emails approval please follow following step.

- In your 'who will receive' notification section remove 'Approver' in User/Groups in field.

-User/Groups in field should be empty.

-Only mention the Group -> CAB Approval.

Hi @Sarah Bouil ,

 

Could you please explain the requirement a little bit more with screen shots , its a bit confusing. Normally if notification is sent to group it will trigger only one email and in that the recipient will have all the members email in it so everyone will receive the email

i can see that you are triggering the notification when event is fired so could you please share the code from where you are calling the event br ,schedule job etc
