i have an email notification configured in our instance,
in the who will receive section i added "approver". when checked the emails are trigerring for approver, but along with approver it's trigerring for another random user. not sure how it's trigerring. Any help on where should i look for this?

Hello

If you are email is fired via an event, in the who will receive section
1.check if the send to event creator is checked
2.check Event parm1 contains receipient is checked
3.check Event parm2 contains receipient is checked
and, final thing you need to check is that open approver's user profile and see if there's any delegate configured.(Refer Screenshot)

what is the trigger type for email, from where are you triggering??
