Error msg : The following fields contain errors

Hi Guys,

I have created one "checkbox" varaible on record producer. Let's say xyz. Also mandatory.

And mapped this to a field in backend which is of true/false type.

No issue when user genrally fills all the fields and submit.

But if the user didn't fill the checkbox variable and submits there is error message to fill all mandatory fields which is expected behaviour. But then again when the user fills the checkbox and tries to submit there is another error message as below.

"The following field contain errors : xyz "

And user not able to submit now. Any help on this ?

Hi All , Thanks for the response but this issue was marked as a product defect after Rome patch 7 and it will be fixed in San Diego.

If it is only single checkbox true/false and it has to be mandatorily filled, then why not make it default true on form load and make read-only .

Another view : Can we remove mandatory in variable level and keep it from policy action and try ..

We're seeing the same issue.

We aren't sure when it started happening but suspect that either the Rome upgrade or a recent patch may have caused it.

I've raised a ticket to ServiceNow Support and will provide an update here once I know more.

We're experiencing the same issue on a checkbox variable that does not map to any field.

Just wondering if you had any response from SN yet?
