Field visibility on catalog task template.

Hello community,

There is a requirement to create a customized field in oob catalog form template(like we have status, assignment group, assigned to) similarly we have to create a customized field below OOB status field.That field should be visible for specific catalog form only.Please help me to achieve this.

You can create the field, put it on the form and use a ui policy that states to only make it visible if cat_item = xxx

I hope it is on Sc_task form , create new field and Design UI Policy to Show that only for Particular Item

In order to find Request item.item - you need to click on Show all related fields then select Request Item ==> Request item fields and in that you need to select Item once you select Item it will show  "Request item.item" in the drop down

May i know what is need to create custom field, it may required but i will say, have a look if any OOTB field can be used or only by variable we can work?

Also try to create new field on task table, so that it can be used by other tables in future if required, 

Rest to show / hide , solution is already provided.
