Fields set to read only on survey form not working

Hi,
I am trying to set the fields as ready only on the survey questions. I have even set the field read only to "true" in the metric category table but when i open the survey i don't see the ready only to be set on the field.

As i am already setting the field values by default from the backend i don't want them to be editable.

Hello,

When you turn 'read only' on the assessment metric table you defining the condition on the table level not on the survey level. Comparing with the Catalog item you are defining that the view/table is read only but not the variable at catalog level using client script. 

There is no solution OOTB to set read only a question from survey.

Did you find any solution to this? I have the same issue and the fields are still editable for me in the survey form.
