Hi, hope someone can help and save my sanity.
Sorry if this question is posted in the wrong section, it's not very clear where I should be posting questions about creating reports and charts.
I've been tasked with creating a new Dashboard for IT management with multiple reports tracking tickets, etc. One thing we are tracking is how many starters and leavers we have. I have a couple of reports in place for that, but I'm having a real headache trying to complete the leavers report.
In the form of a column chart I would like a breakdown of leavers for each month. I've created the Task Conditions, but I cannot find the right Trend By option. On our tasks it states the "Termination Date" for the employee. I cannot find Termination date in the Trend By options for a column chart.
Any ideas where this is located? I've tried Due Date and several others but none work, or they should me the date the task was closed.
Thanks

Anything related to reporting/PA/dashboards is best posted in the Platform Analytics forum, where the reporting experts share their knowledge and experience, but on other parts your question will also be seen. Just don't post it several times, because it will become a mess in keeping up with answers and telling people what you already tried.
For the answer: is the 'termination date' really a field on the task, or is it a variable coming from somewhere else? If you can't select it, check on other possibilities. I guess the task is closed after the date has passed, so maybe use the closure? Or, if not used for anything else, use a different date/time or date field for your reporting and have it filled from the termination date.
Please mark any helpful or correct solutions as such. That helps others find their solutions.

Thanks for the reply Mark.
What I'll do is resubmit this question in the Platform Analytics forum.
As it turned out the 'termination date' was a variable, which was being pulled from somewhere else. I'll see if those in the PA forum can assist further.
Thanks,
