Hi Team,
I'm troubleshooting a Flow Designer approval issue where the Ask for Approval action is being skipped.
Flow Output:
- Action Status: Success
- Approval State: Skipped
- Approval Reason: "Skipped due to no valid approvers"
In my case:
- The approval is configured as a Manager Approval.
- The users have managers assigned.
- The manager records are active.
However, the approval step is still being skipped and no approval is generated.
Has anyone encountered this before? Besides inactive or missing managers, what other conditions can cause ServiceNow to determine that there are no valid approvers?
Any suggestions on what logs, flow inputs, or approval records I should review would be appreciated.
