Hide a catalog item which is part of an order guide

Dear Experts,

We want to build an order guide combining 3 catalog items. However, we do not want the users to access these catalog items independently/directly but only through the order guides.

If we add user criteria/entitlement to these catalog items will we be able to achieve this?

Can you please recommend a solution on how to achieve this? We are on London.

Hi 

Yes i have tried the specific requirement of yours. The items that you have added in the Rule Base , You need to add a user criteria for whom who want to hide the specific catalog item. By doing this the one for whom it is hidden will not appear in the order guide.

Just to confirm, so when you added the user criteria the catalog items are available in the order guide but not as individual catalog items on the Service Catalog/Service Portal?

Hi 

No as Catalog items are part of Order Guide, We need to add them to specific catalog items. If you add Available for on the order guide, It will be applied to whole order guide and not the specific catalog item.

They were not available for those who did'nt qualify the User Criteria.

Our requirement is to make the catalog items available through Order Guide for all the users. Only through the order guides and not as independent catalog items.
