Hide an Icon in the incident form.

Hi everyone,

I need to hide a specific icon from the Incident form in ServiceNow.

The icon appears on the form header / related list / field (please specify where exactly). I would like to remove or hide it based on either:

  • User role

  • Condition

  • Or completely from the form

Could someone guide me on the best approach? Should this be handled using:

  • UI Policy

  • Client Script

  • UI Action

  • Dictionary Override

  • Or UI Macro modification?

I want to follow a best practice approach and avoid unsupported customizations.

Hi @pushpapushe,

what icon exactly do you want to hide? Is it form only or a list view as well?

Could you possibly share a screenshot to better understand?

Also, you can check client scripts and Field Styles
