Hi All,
Does anyone have an idea how can hide a variable if the catalog item is completed as part of the onboarding order guide.
I only need to display the variable when the catalog item is used standalone.
All ideas greatly welcomed!
Thanks

I just realized that probably doesn't make sense if you don't have the variable/set on the OG. In the variable set in the Catalog Item you can uncheck the 'Visible on Guides' box so that the variable does not appear when the Catalog Item is spawned from an Order Guide

Hi Ellie,
If you have the variables defined in the Order Guide and are cascading to the Catalog Item(s), you can create a UI Policy within the Order Guide to hide variable(s) when the OG is used. This UI Policy isn't on the Catalog Item, so when it is used standalone, the variable(s) will display.

Hi Brad,
The variable is in a variable set which is used in the catalog item. I appreciate your help and will check the ui policy on order guide!

Perfect that did it. After so many years working with ServiceNow I never used or knew this 🙄
Thanks a ton!
