Why do the highlighted values show on native UI but not on workspace.
I remember reading a community post that mentioned if related list Highlighted value for Workspace is in first or second column, it does not work. Moving it to third or later columns in the list makes it work. I am not sure if it is a bug, I replicated in my PDI and behavior is same.
You can try creating a support case if you want it in first or second column.

Sorry only just saw this and it works partially. When I have the state column in as the second one it does not highlight it however when it is the last one it is highlighted as shown in the photos below.
