I have successfully discovered AWS resources using ServiceNow Cloud Discovery. I understand how AWS Accounts, Regions, VPCs, EC2 instances, and other cloud resources are populated in the CMDB.
My doubt is: How do these discovered AWS resources get connected to an Application or Application Service when we are implementing the CSDM model?
Does Cloud Discovery automatically create relationships between AWS resources and Applications/Application Services?
Or is this achieved through Service Mapping, Application Services, or manual modeling?
For example, if an EC2 instance hosts an application, how does ServiceNow identify that the EC2 belongs to a specific Application Service?
I would appreciate it if someone could explain the overall concept and the recommended CSDM approach for connecting discovered AWS resources to business applications

For AWS or any cloud enviorment you have to tag based service maps.
