Attached is an example of what i am trying to do.
We have a stockroom at a warehouse that ships certain assets to our stores, but each time they ship the asset out, the asset is automatically set to "In Stock", "Reserved" to "Generic Stockroom. All the other assets that we ship from our stockroom within our company, the asset is automatically assigned to "In Use" Assigned to "Store", which is what we need.
It looks like there is a security feature that is stopping me from changing multiple assets at the same time and I am trying to figure out how to enable it.
If anybody could help with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!

Anes,
Because there are fields that display and become mandatory based on the State of the asset, you cannot make this change from the list view, and I recommend not trying to get around this. Fortunately, there is another way to update multiple records at once that works here because it uses the form view:
If you want to update the States for multiple records, instead check the items in the list, and then right-click any form header (for Geneva and earlier, with List v3 in Helsinki, you go to the List options menu), and select Update Selected. This opens a form, which then honors these types of changes because when you select the new State, the form updates displays the changes, including mandatory fields based on the changes you select.
Here is a post with some additional discussion about this: What is the purpose of ACL's that prevent asset State/Substate from being edited in list view?
I hope this helps.
Ben

You're very welcome, Anes. I wish you success. As this answered your question, can you please mark my answer as correct? Then if others have the same question, they can find the answer here.
Thanks,
