how can i move changes of list layout from one instance to another through Update set or XML?

I have the same issue : 

- List Default View modified on Configure>List Layout.

- Changes are taken on Update Set,

- I committed the Update Set on the target instance and the list is not like it should be.

Did you able to solve this issue? currently having the same issue. the customer updates of list layouts are in the update set but when I move to other instance like TEST. It is not moving the customer updates as expected.
