I have a few cases where users are assigning incidents to a problem when they shouldn't. Short of going directly to the tables, is there a way that I can remove an incident from a problem?

This would be a matter of removing the PRB value from the Problem (problem_id) on the incident record.

Click on the incident you want to remove.
Find the related records tab
The problem number should be in the problem field
Just remove the problem number and save the incident.

I found a solution!
- Right click on the Column Options, (hamburger menu) next to Number column
- Click Configure
- Click List Control
- Uncheck the Omit edit button
- Save
- Now you will have an Edit button
