How to add DLs in the notifications?

Hi Community,

How to send notifications to DLs? I want to trigger 2 notifications to a DL.

Hi @Poorva Bhawsar 

In this case, do not add any group members directly. Here's what you can do:

1. Create a New Group: Start by creating a new group.
2. Use Group Email as a DL: Add the group email as a Distribution List (DL).
3. Assess Overlap: Only add members if you are certain that the DL members and the group members are the same. Otherwise, do not add any members to the group.
4. Classify Using Group Type: Create a new group type specifically for classification purposes.

This approach ensures proper structure and avoids unnecessary duplication or confusion.

Is it fine if i add this DL email ID directly in the user field of whom to receive?

It will not work , bcz either you can user or group not email id.

yes, you can add DL directly in email box in Users field.
