How to add Incident Variables (Variable Editor) to the Agent Workspace view of a Self Service Incident?

We've noticed that in the Requested Items that the Variable Editor Shows, but from a Self Service Incident, the Variables do not show.  Wonder if there is an easy way to fix this or any way to add it?

You can update the form layout of your Incident form in the Workspace view to include "Incident Variable Editor".

Then it will show in agent workspace on that incident in a Variables section.

Thanks David!  Yes, I did this over a year ago and had forgotten how I worked on Agent Workspace!  Something I found sparked that memory and I was able to add the variable editor to Workspace view. (It was already on the form layout (default view)...just not the Workspace view) The funny thing is that in my question, I basically answered myself since I referred to Workspace "view", I just didn't see it until I posted the question! lol

Anyways, thanks for providing the correct answer as hopefully it will help others in the future!

Hey Trena,

I did the similar thing for Workspace view. But when I check in backend by changing the view from Default to workspace, variables are Read-only but on the other hand, if I check the variables in Workspace module these are editable. Is there any solution to that?

Did you find a solution to make variable editor readonly in workspace?
