How to add value in change risk management based on Configuration Item field value.

I have a requirement to add the Configuration Item Criticality value in Change Risk Assessment Calculation.

We have Change Risk Assessment already defined but also need to add below values based on "Criticality" field value from Configuration Item and then calculate the risk.

Very Critical = 4

Medium Critical = 3

Critical = 2

Low = 1 .

I tried "Default Answer From Script" option but it still allows users to edit the answer. I don't want it to be editable by users.

Kindly suggest how to implement it.

I checked for risk conditions but I might need to write 5 separate risk categories to accommodate each  Criticality value. And what if in future user asked to add one more Criticality value. Also adding it in condition doesn't add it in score.

I think I need something to add as a metric which is not editable to users

Hi @priyanewaskar1

Check teh OOTB risk conditions

Adding it as a risk category condition is not feasible as I might need to create 5 different risk categories for each "Criticality" value.

I am looking for adding it in a risk metric but shouldn't be editable to users and also add value in total score.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG ,

In our instance, we are using Risk Assessment and not using Risk Calculator hence Risk Condition will not work in this case.

As mentioned on

HI @priyanewaskar1

My experience say, these both together.
