How to attach a screenshot automatically in a custom field in Incident form?

I have a screenshot stored within one table in ServiceNow. Whenever a incident is proposed to a major incident, I want to attach that screenshot automatically in that custom field, in the incident form.

What type of field is it? And what’s the purpose of attaching that field?
The attachment functionality is already available at the Incident level, so is there any specific reason to duplicate this? If not, we can consider skipping it.

Yes, there is specific reason. Major incident team have a specific view i.e. Major incident view and in that they want the screenshot to be attached in a custom field.

Is the MI team not using the Major Incident Workbench?
As far as I know, you can keep the attachments consistent across all views.
