Does anybody knows how to change the default favicon (also called "shortcut icon") in Service-Now?

You can upload any 16X16 image to the images table. Then you just change the system property to point to the new image.

You can use an .ico file, however you need to use any name BUT favicon.ico. It took me a few tries, but once I changed the name to favicon2.ico and uploaded it (using SYSTEM DEFINITION --> UPLOAD FILE) it worked. In SYSTEM PROPERTIES --> SYSTEM you change the value to /scs/favicon2.ico (or whatever you have named the file).
Just as an FYI, you can use an image (png, gif, jpg) but Internet Explorer won't show the icon. Unfortunately IE is my company's default browser, so I needed it to work for IE.

Just came across this community post. I wrote this KB to help address this issue a couple months ago, hopefully it will help: https://hi.service-now.com/kb_view.do?sysparm_article=KB0520828
Cheers,
Ben
