Dear all,
I have a use case where I need to get the desciption field of an incident only editable by the user who create the incident. This from the self service view
For that I have created a incident.description ACL rule where I have add a script as below in advance section:
answer = (current.getValue('sys_created_by') == gs.getUserName());
When I login to an other user who did not create the incident, the description field is still editable
Any idea ?

user who raise incident would be end user and interact via portal only and see the status of INC via portal
they won't come to native and this requirement doesn't look like a valid business use-case

Hello @Ankur Bawiskar , I am sorry to say that I am fully free to create an incident directly from the backend if I want , and this is from where I am testing this

my thoghts
-> End users typically don't create incidents from the Native UI.
-> They usually use the Service Portal (SP), Employee Center (ESC), or Virtual Agent. Native UI and Workspace are primarily intended for agents.
-> In my experience, I haven't seen this requirement from any customer implementations.
-> However, if you do need this requirement, a field-level Write ACL would be the appropriate approach.
