How to hide a catalog from native UI and make it visible only from portal

We have a catalog which we need to show only on portal. It should not show on native UI. Do we have any recommended method of doing this?

Hi @KiranAddepally1 ,

The most straightforward and maintainable way to hide a catalog from the native UI while allowing it to appear in the Service Portal is to use a Catalog UI Policy with a condition that checks the context (Service Portal vs. native UI), adding UI policy actions. You can configure the accessibility.

May I know for what purpose this is going to be implemented?

Thanks,

Why? What's the reason for not showing it in the native UI?

yes, we can do that hiding the form. But we are concern about the user experience. Hence looking for any servicenow recommendable way of hiding a catalog itself from native UI. This is a particular

use case which has masked variable. It has some challenges in native Ui.
