I am working in a update set in DEV and made a change to some Categories that didn't work. I went to the In Progress update set and deleted the last entry. However, the change is still there. I do not want to Complete-and-Back-Out this update set because a lot of what I've done I want to keep.
Is there something else I need to do to "Undo" the last change I made?

you can go to sys_update_xml.LIST table and delete required entries from your update set.

Do this, Navigate to your update set and in the related list. Click on Open in New window.
Once the updates are opened in new window.
Double click on the update set and move them to default or select all the unwanted updates and delete them.
Please mark my response as correct and helpful if it helped solved your question.
-Thanks

I can't find the change in any of these suggestions. Apparently, since I already deleted it from the Update Set it is no longer there. BUT the change didn't revert back.
I had to manually go back an undo the change.

Gerry, if you delete the change in the update set, it will not remove the change you did in the instance. That is just a record indicating what change you made, meaning deleting it won't change anything. You would have to back out to have these changes reversed, or change it back manually
