How to remove a change in a In Progress update set, before Completing?

I am working in a update set in DEV and made a change to some Categories that didn't work. I went to the In Progress update set and deleted the last entry. However, the change is still there. I do not want to Complete-and-Back-Out this update set because a lot of what I've done I want to keep.

Is there something else I need to do to "Undo" the last change I made?

so . . . . there's no "Undo" anywhere?

I don't know if I like that . . . . I'm too trigger happy with my mouse . . . .  🙂

Unfortunately, not really. I mean yes you can back-out of an update set as you already know, but obviously you want to keep all of the changes you've made which is probably a lot. If you delete the change in the update set then it will not go into production or wherever you are moving the set to. But the change will still be in the original instance. Best bet is to just manually change it back.

There are options to revert to older versions in specific cases. You can scroll down to see versions and revert to older versions. But this doesn't apply to smaller changes like variable changes in the portal for example.

As a somewhat beginner myself, I tend to remind myself that Service-Now is not very forgiving when it comes to mistakes especially if you are like me lol.
