How to send SMS in ServiceNow

Hello,

I need to send the SMS by firing an event in the Business rule when I promote normal incidents to major incidents(SMS sent to major incident manager).

Is it possible in service now? If yes Can anyone please help me with the process?

Hi Sandeep,

 

Thank you for sharing the configuration to set up the SMS. 
However, if a different user submits the incident, the above setup triggers the SMS to the same mobile number(same user). 

The caller is different but the SMS are getting triggered to the same number. 

Could you please tell me if anyone has the same issue?

The below screenshot shows the two different incident with different caller but same SMS got triggered

if u dont have any third party app to support sms you will need to analyze which country you are trying to send sms to , not all countries and their network gateways are supported with oob sms option !
