How to set an incident ticket that has already been created and saved, as a child of a parent ticket?

Hi,

How can we set incident tickets that have already been created and saved, as child tickets for a parent ticket?

I know how to create new child tickets but don't know how to associate tickets that have already been created as child tickets.  Also, can we do this with tickets that have already been resolved / closed?

Hello,

Under 'Child Incidents' related list you can tag incidents right by clicking on Edit button ?

Yes but that brings up a search window with many options that still didn't find a ticket by incident number.  Isn't their an easier more straight forward way to just add a child ticket by incident number?

You can populate "parent" field on that child incident.

Then add just Incident in 'Parent Incident' field. That should work right ?
