Hi All,
I need to make read only some fields (opened, opened by,resolve,resolved by, closed) always on the form
So please suggest me the best approch

Hi Hemachandra,
You can use UI Policy (no code needed) to make it work.
Alternatively, you can use ACL if needed or Client scripts as well. Did you try something & are you stuck somewhere?

Best would be to go with ACLs then. It will take care of things from all perspectives (list, form)

Hi Hemachandra,
Go to dictionary of the fields, if they are in Incident table and mark the checkbox"read only' as checked.
Make sure its Incident field, If its task field, then it will be read only on other task tables as well.
