After termination, former employees  should:

Continue using their existing credentials and access the portal with limited access, 

so, what i m thinking, to remove existing roles , user will still be active, and assign one alumni role to the same user,

but in sys_user_has_role table "active " field is dot walked from user table, when i update the active field in roles table, in user table also its getting updated. without deleting roles can we achieve?

Also, if you wrote any scripts, could you share or explain how are you manipulating the data?

we are using same portal and restricting the Record producers, via user criteria.   so user can access only few services  in RP, but i wanted to remove existing roles from table , but its not happing.

Hi @Rumanu 

To prevent unauthorized access and maintain strict security compliance, an employee’s access to company systems is immediately revoked upon termination of employment.

Therefore, former employees should not continue to use their existing corporate credentials to access the ServiceNow portal, even with limited access.

As I understand it, the Alumni Portal is a separate platform where former employees can register and access the portal using their personal employee ID/credentials as external users.
