Hi,
I am building an Order Guide which has like 15 forms and its workflows.
In the 1st Page of the Order Guide i.e., "Describe Needs" whatever variables are selected I want them to appear on the RITM Submitted in the "Variable Section" in the back-end.
My query is not cascading the variables.
The variables I have used on the 1st page , I do not want to use/create them again in the catalog items,
I am talking about the Back-end variable section where I want the Order Guide variables also to appear. But only RITM variables seems to appear.
I hope I was clear.
Thanks,
Vaishnavi

Hi Vaishnavi,
You need to create variables with the same name on the catalog item and enable "cascade variables" this will help you to see the Order guide variables on the Request item.
Please mark my answer as Correct & Helpful, as applicable.
Thanks

Hi Vaishnavi,
You still need to use cascade variables and let it not visible in catalog item.
> Enable cascade variables in order guide
> Open individual catalog items and create variables with same name in as in order guide and
> In available tab manage the check boxes as below
Now, Your variable will not be visible when you try to submit individual catalog items seperately but will be visible when you try to order via an order guide and RITM generated via order guide.
But, It is not possible if you want those variables to be shown in RITM but not in Order guide choose options tab.
Hope you are clear now.
Regards,
Sumanth

Hey,
You are looking for cascade variables
To enable cascading, select the Cascade variables check box when creating the order guide. Then, create variables on the catalog items that match the names of the corresponding variables in the order guide. When a customer places an order, the variables on the ordered items inherit the values of the identically named variables in the order guide.
