Hello All, We are facing some issue with the Global Text search.
Inactive/unpublished knowledge articles are showing up in global search when we give the exact KB number. Ex KB00000 if i search from global text search even if the article is inactive or in draft state the article will show up. the condition works very much fine from the Knowledge home page, just does not work from Global Search
I want a way to change the global text search to show only Published articles.

Hello Ajay,
you should be able to edit the settings on what can be searched by adding conditions in "ts_group" table(Text Search Table). you would find an existing condition for Knowledge table , in which the conditions can be altered.
Thanks and Regards,
Saran

Sarannian we have this condition on the knowledge page and it works fine when we search in the Knowledge home page search.
Try one thing in your instance, pick any KB which is retired or inactive, search the article in the Global Text Search, the result will return back the KB with all the details no matter which role you have.
Am looking for change in the Global text Search.

Ajay,
I just tried the searching for a retired KB article through the Global search and it did not show up the Article, whereas it shows on other published articles.
Thanks and Regards,
