Inactive/unpublished knowledge articles in global search

Hello All, We are facing some issue with the Global Text search.
Inactive/unpublished knowledge articles are showing up in global search when we give the exact KB number. Ex KB00000 if i search from global text search even if the article is inactive or in draft state the article will show up. the condition works very much fine from the Knowledge home page, just does not work from Global Search
I want a way to change the global text search to show only Published articles.

Hello Everyone, we'd like to check if there's any solution in place for hiding retired kb articles on global search please? I did follow all steps but it retired KBs are still searchable by an ITIL user. We are on Helsinki V3. Thank you
