Hi,
I have a doubt related to email logs. When we open email logs ,under reciepients email ids, how can i find where and in which application (ex: inbound action or notification), that email id is involved. In the sense how can i search where this email id is used.
Thanks,
Ruby

Hi Ruby,
Yes, It can be same.
From: Enter the email address that you want the email notification to use in the From field. For example, helpdesk@yourcompany.com
Reply to: Enter the email address you want people to use when replying to the email notification. For example, helpdesk@yourcompany.com
Are you checking on Personal Developer instance? because Servicenow Provides Mailbox POP3 and SMTP By default, the ServiceNow POP3 server provides each instance with its own mailbox at the address instance@service-now.com. Likewise, the ServiceNow SMTP server sends email from the address instance@servicenow.com
So you need not set From or Reply to it will take the instance mailbox address by default.
If my response helped please mark them all helpful and mark it correct then close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi Prabhu,
Thank you for your clear explanation. Yes , i am trying in my PDI. But here again to test i am facing issue with email accounts, i configured SMTP one, which it is allowing sending of emails. But while configuring POP3 one, the test connection is failing. Due to which i am unable to test the notification functionality that i configured which is SLA breach warning one. Is there any way to test it?
Your help is highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ruby
