Indexing Knowledge Base and making Knowledge Base articles available in an external search engine

Hello,

We have a new requirement from our internal web team. They would like to index our ServiceNow KB articles and then make them available in our website's main search engine. This is so that people can search and find KB articles from our University website. We would in theory only want to do this with public-facing KB articles.

We have this initial feedback from our web team.

"The problem is that these pages use JavaScript, and our search engine (Funnelback) doesn't render them. The result is that only the stub of the page is indexed.
Is there a rendered version of each KB article, or an XML/RSS feed which includes structured information about them"

Is this whole thing possible or are there more sensible solutions?

Thanks in advance

David
