HI All ,

Am trying to integrate datadog with service now by following this article here >>>https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/servicenow/<<<

however it asks to upload the XML file to service now but when i tried , servicenow accepts only xls format

anyone else has successfully integrated datadog with snow ? and using it for inc creation etc ?

Hi, you must be an admin user to load XML files and XML files are loaded by a list view header menu, not the file import menu - which I think you used?
It doesn't matter which table list view you use for your XML import as the destination table is defined within each record in the xml file.

If the xml file is an update set,
once it is loaded you will need to go to retrieved update-sets and  preview, then commit the update-set for the records to be applied to your instance.

thanks , can i know next steps to integrate datadog with service now ?

I am trying to integrate ServiceNow to Datadog as well. I get the message "There are issues in your ServiceNow configuration. User does not have 'x_datad_datadog.user' role for instance <instance>." on the Datadog side, but I am told that the user does have the x_datad_datadog.user role. Any hints?
