integration with datadog

HI All , 

Am trying to integrate datadog with service now by following this article here >>>https://docs.datadoghq.com/integrations/servicenow/<<<

however it asks to upload the XML file to service now but when i tried , servicenow accepts only xls format 

anyone else has successfully integrated datadog with snow ? and using it for inc creation etc ?

Hi @Matt_watts23 - 
Yes, I was able to fix it. Assuming you have everything set up in ServiceNow for the Datadog user, you'll need the Datadog admin to create a Datadog service account. That service account will likely need to have just Datadog Read Only role. Once I set the role, I was able to get things to work. Now I just have to figure out how to map everything so the ServiceNow incidents are correctly populated.

Karan15, hello! Did you integrate the systems successfully? Must admit i have only one datadog interaction so reading Tony's answer was interesting. Hope one day will have the chance to try this particular approach. So far, we've used a connector (it's called zigiops) to integrate our snow and datadog instances. I think it might be interesting for you. Feel free to check it out.
