is it possible to display Captions in CSM Portal Videos

Hi Community,

We have a requirement to display Captions / Subtitles and Transcripts for videos hosted on our CSM (Customer Service Management) Portal.

Could someone share insights on whether this is natively supported, or provide guidance on the best approach to achieve this?

Hi Atul, our CSM Portal recently underwent an Accessibility Audit conducted by SEBI. The following issue was identified:

Issue Type: Missing transcript for video

Actual Result:
A text transcript is not available for the “Goldilocks Economy” video. As a result, users with visual or hearing impairments, including deaf-blind users, may not be able to access the information presented in the video.

Expected Result:
A text transcript should be provided for each informative video to ensure that the video content is accessible to all users.

Recommendation:
Provide an accurate text transcript for the “Goldilocks Economy” video. The transcript can either be displayed on a separate webpage or made available as a downloadable Microsoft Word or PDF document. A clearly identifiable “View Transcript” or “Download Transcript” link/button should be provided alongside the video so that users can easily access it.
