Is it possible to use the Field Encryption module to encrypt files?

Is it possible to use the Field Encryption module to encrypt and store(sys_attachment) files attached to service request catalog items?

If it is possible, I would appreciate it if you could share the procedure.

yes the free version of Column Level Encryption supports encrypting attachments

Instead of creating an encryption option and manually encrypting data, is it possible to automate the manual encryption process using a Business Rule?

It's one time activity and configured as per customer requirement.
