Issue with "Assigned to" Field in Create Catalog Task Action

Hi Community,

I have one catalog item, and if user submits the form, then the sctask should assigned to be whoever opens the request, I am attaching snapshot for reference.

 In my PDI (Personal Developer Instance), I created a flow where the "Create Catalog Task" action sets the "Assigned to" field using the value from the "Opened by" user of the Requested Item. This works perfectly in PDI — the catalog task gets assigned to the correct user.

However, when I replicate the same flow in my main account, the "Assigned to" field is not being populated. I've verified that:

  • The "Opened by" field is correctly set on the Requested Item.
  • The user has the necessary roles.
  • The flow configuration matches what I did in PDI.

Despite this, the assignment doesn't happen in the main account. Could anyone help me understand why this discrepancy exists and how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance!

@VALLUB

are you doing this in customer instance and it's not working?

What do you mean by main account?

Hi @VALLUB

when it’s working as expected in a PDI but not in a company instance, I’m wondering if there is a rule implemented that contradicts what you’re trying to achieve. E.g. a business rule that clear the assigned to after you have set it by flow designer. Have you investigated if this could be the case?
