Greetings!

by default, updates made through data sources and import sets are not audited

refer:

it also mentions auditing tables that receive large amount of traffic can impact performance

 if you still want to turn on auditing, then auditing has to be enabled for sys_import_set table and make sure to check Run business rules on transform map.
