I've recently complete a few big re-platforming projects, taking clients back to out-of-the-box.
I now have the challenge of attempting to get an instance back to OOTB where the ITSM updates have been skipped since Fuji (I believe). Z-boot/re-platform is currently not on the table.
We've been given a fresh instance to try a few things on. My idea so far is to install all skipped records and revert customised records back to OOTB, then fix forward where needed to add the necessary customisations (for the most part, all customisations can be met just by going back to OOTB anyway).
Has anyone attempted this before? If so, any advice would be great.
Also, to add, some of this stuff was built 12+ years ago, not design document exists. The rational is long gone.
